Wheat Bran

Material The tableware and cutlery made from wheat bran, are an excellent alternative to most of disposable tableware made from plastic, paper and even some chemically-processed bio-based products, the production and utilization of which has a heavy environmental footprint. Ecoware tableware and cutlery products are extremely environmentally friendly, fully biodegradable, and home compostable within just 30 days. (Industrial composting is required for PLA-based products.)

Wheat bran tableware production process was invented by a family whose family’s milling traditions date back to the beginning of the twentieth century. This technology allows to manufacture various products - mainly biodegradable disposable tableware and takeaway packaging from sustainable organic raw materials, such as wheat bran, corn bran, cassava by-products, Seaweed.

The production facility complies with the BRC Global Standards for food production quality and safety, and it offers a wide range of fully biodegradable tableware and cutlery produced from natural and edible wheat bran.
 



Application

The biodegradable and disposable wheat bran tableware is suitable for serving hot and cold meals, both solid and liquid. It is successfully tested and certified for food contact safety and can be used in conventional ovens or microwave ovens. Ecoware products are robust and stable – consumers and caterers can comfortably and safely use them at home, on a picnic, during open-air events, in bars or even in restaurants. Products based on wheat bran contain wheat derivatives and gluten.
